Oracle is telling to customer: “Hey, now we own the whole stack: Storage, Servers and Software we can solve all your problems!” (of course, this is a coarse recap).

But, on the other hand I’m seeing that the old Sun is disappearing very fast: people, products, strategies, etc. and now the last rumor on the end of the OEM agreement with LSI.

Hmmm! well, which will be the Sun customers option? The answer is one and obvious: exadata! but if that’s the answer you already know what I said here.

Oracle technology stack is becoming very thin at the base, like an upside down pyramid… I’m eager to see how it will stand up!
